We offer classes for all levels and academic abilities and guide students to explore a wide variety of subjects. We have a low student-teacher ratio, allowing personalized instruction for all ages. The curriculum is well integrated throughout our school system, so students are prepared for High School learning and beyond.
Several staff members also teach at the college level. Bishop Garrigan is fortunate to offer college level classes taught on-site, with even more college credit opportunities available online. Many of our students graduate having already satisfied many elective and general ed requirements for their colleges. Many of our students earn academic scholarships and are accepted into Honors Programs in college.
Bishop Garrigan schools are fully accredited by the State of Iowa Department of Education and the Catholic Diocese of Sioux City. Garrigan and Seton students score above state and national averages on the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills and the Iowa Tests of Educational Development. High School students also score above the national average on the ACT.
