We have joyfully welcomed another school year. The 2023-2024 school year is underway!

Bishop Garrigan Schools is pleased to announce John Kesselring as the new building lead at Seton Elementary.

We are excited to announce the grand opening of “The Bear Store” on the lower level at West Vendee in Algona. The Bear Store will carry gently used Bishop Garrigan items such as uniforms, BG clothing, and BG accessories. 

In Mrs. Meyer’s Rhetoric course this semester, high school students participated in mock interviews. This is part of the Work-Based Learning Program Bishop Garrigan provides.

We’d like to congratulate Bishop Garrigan football coach, Marty Wadle, who was one of five inductees into the Iowa High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame on March 4, 2023.

Bishop Garrigan Schools is happy to announce that Kristie Hough has accepted her new role as Grades 3-12 Principal of Bishop Garrigan Schools. She will transition to this new role as of July 1, 2023.

Bishop Garrigan High School is proud to announce the students who qualified for the first semester honor roll for the 2022-23 school year. Congratulations!

Bishop Garrigan students participated in the annual meal packaging event on Monday, December 12th. Students in grades 3-12th came together in one hour shifts to use their time to fill meals.

The Bishop Garrigan dance team wowed the crowd at the 2023 Iowa State Dance Championship on November 30, 2022, at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
