A strong and successful Catholic high school hinges on the leadership of students and their willingness and ability to be vocal witnesses of their faith. The purpose of the CHSLI is to develop student leadership skills and to serve the community. The three-session series allows high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to learn about and develop their leadership skills and to perform service for their local community.

Purposes
- Discover various forms of leadership styles, with an emphasis on servant leadership.

- Develop active and attentive listening skills, become a confident speaker, and articulate your Catholic faith, vision, and mission.

- Participate in team-building activities and hands-on service projects alongside Mount Mercy student leaders.

- Network and connect with other students and Catholic leaders in the community, opening doors to help others and positively influence them on issues of faith, social justice, and human rights.

- Connect with prominent community leaders on how to be a faith leader and how to bring the Catholic faith into leadership roles.

- Earn a certificate of completion.
