Bishop Garrigan Catholic School

Bishop Garrigan is very blessed to have Father Matthew and Deacon Dave Penton in our schools and classrooms.

Father Matthew Solyntjes, chaplain for Bishop Garrigan, visits many different classrooms. If he’s not doing a Q&A or taking a class on a deeper dive in Sacred Scripture or Church Tradition, you can spot him popping into rooms to see what children are doing that day. He’s always ready to offer prayer or counsel for students and staff, too.

Deacon Dave Penton is a positive force when he meets with religion classes and student groups to talk about faith in our everyday lives. Students enjoy talking with him about all sorts of topics, from sports to religion.
